Born in Bandung West Java, his family lineage is in the Indonesian martial arts. He gave extensive Seminars in Europe and Canada.
He now lives and teaches in the United States of America, bringing the Silat Perisai Diri knowledge to as many people as possible. He is also teaching children in Public School, to build a new generation of Silat Perisai Diri. He has the permission of the Silat Perisai Diri organization from the head office in Surabaya and the United States of America, to teach and write books about Silat.
